JJ Sandham began making cheese in Lancashire at their Barton dairy in 1929. Still family owned and operated, the dairy now produces a range of cheddars & territorial cheeses.
It is a hard-pressed cheese with a distinct orange colour and clean, full flavour, under a red wax.
