Waikato is also the name of the longest river in New Zealand and means ‘flowing water’ in Māori.

Made on the farm with pasture based milk, this authentic gouda is naturally smoked and matured on pine shelves for 9 months. Whilst the smoke brings the cheese a deep golden brown colour and intense smokey aroma, on the palate, the cheese retains it’s bright herbaceous flavours and fudgy texture beneath the subtle smokey overlay.
